Shortly soon after introducing the original Galaxy Tab in India, Samsung took it more and announced the availability of Galaxy Tab seven. Plus.

The sequel to the old Galaxy Tab which is delivered with Android 2.2 Froyo on board, Samsung Galaxy Tab seven. Plus is a lot more effective and capabilities enhanced hardware and computer software configuration.

The slate is now obtainable in India as Samsung Galaxy Tab 620 and it can be bought via Flipkart for Rs 26,499 (500 USD or 395 EUR) outright. The tablet is a bit far more costly at pick retail merchants across the country, so buyers will have to spend all around Rs 26,990 (515 USD or 402 EUR).

For the time currently being, Samsung India debuted only the 16GB model, but the business will probably launch the 32GB variant within the next few weeks.

The 7-inch slate is powered by Android three.2 Honeycomb, but Samsung announced not long ago that the Galaxy Tab seven. Plus and Galaxy S II will obtain their Ice Cream Sandwich upgrades in Q1 2012.

Aside Honeycomb, the tablet features Samsung’s TouchWiz UX user interface set up on best of Google’s mobile platform.

As the name suggests, the tablet comes with a seven-inch PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen that boasts 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

It is equipped with a dual core Exynos 4210 CPU clocked at 1.two GHz, a Mali-400MP graphics processing unit, 16GB internal memory, 1GB RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 64GB).

In the connectivity front, the Galaxy Tab seven. Plus comes packed with HSDPA and HSUPA support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth three. connectivity alternatives, as properly as Wi-Fi hotspot, DLNA and Television-Out capabilities.

There’s also a 3-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash and a secondary two-megapixel front facing camera for self-portraits and video chats.
